Title: Subliminal advertising------ so to speak Post by: nesto111 on February 04, 2008, 04:37:53 PM This is abit of a silly post but lately I seem to hear alot of GNR both on TV and movies, yes they are old songs but at the
same time it reminds people of GNR and without realizing it alot of my friends have started to become interested in them again. Eg ... Burnout Paradise adverts on tv with Paradise City Channel 5 in the UK advertising the Movie Welcome to the Jungle with you guesed it Welcome to the Jungle Guns N Roses in the movie Gone Baby Gone Estranged being played on Canal +'s Boxoffice menu etc Title: Re: Subliminal advertising------ so to speak Post by: Jaakko on February 04, 2008, 04:52:26 PM About 10 years ago people couldn't tolerate Guns N Roses, but nowadays band has gotten back the respect it deserves. There is a huge demand for good music, I'd like to believe, many have realised that after GNR there hasn't been that much happening...

Title: Re: Subliminal advertising------ so to speak Post by: Ulises on February 05, 2008, 10:06:21 PM About 10 years ago people couldn't tolerate Guns N Roses, but nowadays band has gotten back the respect it deserves. There is a huge demand for good music, I'd like to believe, many have realised that after GNR there hasn't been that much happening... I see that a lot of programs, channels, events, etc. are playing Guns N' Roses. I think that in 10 or 20 years, Guns N' Roses will be classic like Led Zep or Pink Floyd are today...
