What is your source for that. Just because someone is in their 40s, doesn't mean they can't grow hair. I know people that are older, with thicker, and longer hair than him ... myself included.

Well I for one can't remember the last time I saw Slash without a hat..

In the photo in this thread he isn't wearing a hat, but the issue is whether or not the hair he has is fake. I call bullshit. It is an unsubstantiated rumor

In the photo thread there is photo where his hair looks pretty grey...but he has said that he dyes it black. :-\

Jim Bob - that picture above was from some premiere a couple yrs ago, or so.  That is the only time I've ever seen his hair look like that, without his hat, and there's no telling WTF happened.   That, obviously, was a bad hair day - really bad hair day.  Bad hair cut?  I've never seen his hair look like that before or since, so that picture is clearly not a good example.  Personally, I wouldn't have gone out of the house, that day.....

I've seen many recent pictures of him without his hat and his hair looks great.  Does he have extensions?  Who knows.  He has admitted to coloring his hair, but so what? 

I can't believe I'm typing this and defending Slash's hair....... :D :P

yes theres extensions in his hair.. most of the longer part is extensions.. the thinner, frizzier stuff on top is his real hair.

Look at the pictures a little closer.  There's a blue streak going through it or blue coloring in the picture, for whatever reason, on either side - it's not the hair.
