Title: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: Thorned Rose on January 21, 2008, 10:27:39 PM Didn't see a official thread on this band... you could merge it in with one of Steven's threads, but I think his band deserves a actual thread... anyways.
I am just hearing this album for the first time. Not too bad. Decent drums... good drums actually. I wish he would get his stuff together. Anyone know why they never recorded a full LP? This EP is not bad like I said, I like this combo with Crane, Kelly, Adler, and Pearl. It's pretty much a Kelly and Pearl show though really... Pearl and Kelly do all the lyrics and hell even Kelly mastered the album. It's basically Steven drumming with his name in the band name. Wish Steven would write some songs. Any chance of this band getting back together. I wish I could of seen them live. I really like the song "Empty". What you guys think? Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: CaughtMeInaComa on January 22, 2008, 09:44:13 PM I've never actually heard Adlers Appetite, I'm the biggest Steven fan. Maybe I've never heard any of his songs cause I didn't know he released anything. How do I get his EP? Online or what? What's it called? I heard a song or two with him and Izzy. But that all. He's still got it, IMO.
Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: Thorned Rose on January 23, 2008, 08:20:17 AM Yeah it's a 6 song EP. It's got 2 covers and 4 originals and it's good. I wish they would put out a full album.
I would buy it. I have the EP. You should get it man... It's pretty sweet. Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: JAC185 on January 23, 2008, 11:32:03 AM Does anyone even know what the lineup is anymore?
Or what happened to the UK tour? I've read alot of times they were working on a full length album. I think the EP is cool. Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: Thorned Rose on January 23, 2008, 01:29:19 PM Yeah the EP is cool. That lineup of Crane, Pearl, Kelly and Adler is the best.
They should keep that one together. Damnit! Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: Walapino on January 23, 2008, 08:28:44 PM Yeah it's a 6 song EP. It's got 2 covers and 4 originals and it's good. I wish they would put out a full album. I would buy it. I have the EP. You should get it man... It's pretty sweet. When I had dinner with them last September they were talking about putting the album together but then we found out they cancelled the european tour so who knows whats going on now. Wish they did release something soon! :peace: Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: CaughtMeInaComa on January 23, 2008, 08:30:54 PM OK cool, I wouldn't mind listening to it too. But you forgot to tell me what the name of the EP is.........? Or is it just named "THE EP" :hihi:
Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: Jizzo on January 24, 2008, 12:05:15 AM the last lineup i saw was
Colby Veil - Vocals Chips Z'nuff - bass michael thomas - guitar Kristy Majors - guitar Adler - Drums Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: Thorned Rose on January 24, 2008, 08:07:26 AM The original lineup is best, and if they would of recorded a fucking album then maybe Adler wouldn't be so screwed.
With that first lineup... they could probably go gold I would say. Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: jarmo on January 27, 2008, 03:29:42 PM With that first lineup... they could probably go gold I would say. In which country? /jarmo Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: CheapJon on January 27, 2008, 03:45:24 PM I don't think Libertad has reached gold status, AA would never reach it with any lineup :hihi:
Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: IzzyDutch on January 30, 2008, 12:44:44 PM Last year two unreleased studio tracks were put on the SA MySpace wich had Sheldon Tarsha singing on them called 'Sadder Days' and 'Keeping Satisfied' I thought they sounded pretty cool.. his voice is much better then Jizzy's.
I think I still have those two songs somewhere.. Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: CheapJon on January 30, 2008, 12:54:22 PM sine they are unreleased you ca post them here right?

According to antiMUSIC, former OZZY OSBOURNE/BADLANDS guitarist Jake E. Lee and original GUNS N' ROSES drummer Steven Adler will make guest appearances on ENUFF Z'NUFF's upcoming 12th studio album, due later in the year. Entitled "Lost in Vegas", the disc was recorded primarily in "Sin City," with some additional tracking having taken place in Chicago. Fans of ENUFF Z'NUFF frontman Donnie Vie's solo material will already be familiar with a couple of tracks: "Roll Away" and "Code Red" have both been re-recorded for this album. The demo for "Roll Away" is currently streaming on Donnie's MySpace page and the original version of "Code Red" was issued on the UK bonus EP to his "DVieD" release. Other tracks include "Lazy Dazy", "High", "Fine Line", "Playground", and a cover of THE BEATLES classic "Run for your Life". ENUFF Z'NUFF's Chip Z'Nuff plays bass in Steven Adler's band ADLER'S APPETITE. Before it was suppose to be released the band fell apart in Europe. Imo Sheldon Tarsha kicks ass on vocals.. wouldn't mind hearing him on some VR stuff. Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: jarmo on February 15, 2008, 02:11:23 PM There was a review of Hanoi Rocks' Stockholm gig in the Expressen newspaper with the headline "Recruit Adler, Hanoi!" [review (http://www.expressen.se/noje/1.1049336/varva-adler-hanoi) in Swedish].
The reviewer thinks that Hanoi Rocks should get Steven Adler to replace the current Hanoi Rocks drummer Lacu, who will quit the band after the current tour. He goes on to say that having Adler in the band might not last long, but it'd give them lots of publicity and make it possible for HR to play bigger venues.... /jarmo Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: pugdog1987 on February 15, 2008, 07:05:37 PM It would be better than playing in a GnR tribute band. Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: jarmo on February 16, 2008, 01:11:38 AM I don't think the reviewer is aware of the history between Adler and Andy McCoy.....

Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: donaltduck313 on February 16, 2008, 05:03:40 AM hm if you listen Hanois newest album Street Poetry I think its easy to realise they really really dont need guy like Steven Adler... album is amazing when met Conny and A.C. told em its at least as good as Two Steps From The Move :-)
This Andys and Stevens history: didnt they used to be friends/neighbours or something when Andy still lived in LA but in his book (in finnish Sheriffi McCoy) Andy wrote hm not so nice things about Steven and then couple of years ago Adlers Appetite was supposed to tour with Hanoi but in one interview before tour Steven said hm not so nice things about Andys wife Angela, maybe he thought Andy and Angela arent together anymore... and then did it go like this way that Adlers band was suppose to open for Hanoi but when Andy heard/did read that Stevens interview with not so nice comments about Angela (I think Steven did call Angela in that interview something like "slut, biggest loser ever...) Adlers Appetite were told they dont "need to perform"... I am not 100% sure how that story did go but something like that... n once again sorry about my poor english... Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: ACE_is_BACK on April 12, 2008, 03:51:32 AM the shirt is by marc vachon majors just wears it/supports it, etc Not really Kristy Majors latest CD was called Sex Drugs & Rock N' Roll, with that logo, but yeah its made by marc vachon. even with that being the case, you mentioned his latest cd, i'm assuming it's somewhat recent. It's one of the older MV designs so before it had anything to do with him, it was just a Marc Vachon shirt. Oh well., either way, doesn't matter really. Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: fuckin crazy on April 12, 2008, 05:55:53 AM While the design might be recent, the quote has been around since at least the mid 60s. I'm still waiting for the "Tune In, Turn On, Drop out" Tees.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adler%27s_Appetite_%28album%29 this lineup had something special... i wish they would of stayed together Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: IzzyDutch on June 01, 2008, 06:26:37 AM Sheldon Tarsha kicked way more ass on vocals then Jizzy.. the music on the AA EP was great, but the two studio tracks out there with Sheldon on vocals ('Sadder Days' and 'Keeping Satisfied' which have similar music as on the EP) just rock.. it's too bad that lineup broke up before releasing that EP or album or whatever it was gonna be.
Title: Re: Official Adler's Appeitite Thread Post by: r3dhawk6 on June 01, 2008, 07:24:15 PM Coincidentally I just went on Steven's MySpace yesterday to see what was new with him...the music they have available there to listen to sounds really great imo. Hope to hear more from Steven and/or AA about what's going on with them currently and in the future. Steven's awesome and deserves more respect than he gets. Unfortunately he's been a longtime easy target for critics. Not that sometimes it wasn't deserved, but he's just one of those people that others refuse to cut any slack for. Well I think he fuckin' rocks and he looks fab in the most recent photos on his MySpace page!
