Ive heard its most likely The Killers, Rage Against The Machine and Metallica.

I was reading the Teletext earlier today and i read that three American headlining Acts have signed up for the Reading/Leeds Festival and i hope that Uncle Axl has signed the band up, but i predict Metallica, Queens Of The Ice Age, Foo Fighters.

dont jump the gun people. your speculations will only cause disappointment among other fans in case it doesnt happen.

RATM are almost certain to be one.

depends on when this festival takes place.. in the middle of the summer one of the bandmembers will become a father and they have a break in the tour.. that's why they haven't scheduled any dates between 7th of june and 10th of july, unlucky for me since both roskilde festival and hulstfred festival takes place in that period

end of august, like i said almost certain, the promotor gave it away before the 07 festival.

It's the UK August bank holiday weekend, which usually falls on 25/26/27th - ish of August and bands play over three days (fri/sat/sun) - all alternating between Reading (the original festival) and Leeds (new-er site and where GnR played in 2002).

Think Kiss are more likely for Download this year. The organisers of Reading are big RATM fans though and apparently the band love playing there, so am thinking Rage are a near certainty. Unsure about GnR there this year to be honest - but god I'd be there in a shot if they did!
