Title: Axl/GN'R reference at Dresden Dolls Boston show
Post by: GeraldFord on December 30, 2007, 05:53:15 PM
Okay..small mention, but since there isn't much else to talk about...

Last night when I went to see the Dresden Dolls, Brian (the drummer) played the into to SCOM (on guitar) and Amanda Palmer did an Axl Rose snake dance and said "that's my best Axl Rose impression."

I just thought it was cool and worth mentioning!

ii have tickets t see them next week in st. louis....i friggin hope she does it there....mainly caus i find amanda palmer incredibly attractive and would pay money to just see her snake dance....but thats just my own little fantasy...so since he had the guitar i assume "good day" followed...anyway...i would actually really really love it if they did SCOM, like her and the piano and brian on drums, i think they can pull it off...they do a really bad ass cover of "war pigs" i think they can do SCOM. speaking of which.....did they do "war pigs" when you saw them?

On the subject of these guys, here's a pretty decent cover of Patience!

not bad at all.  : ok: obviously they enjoy playing it.
far better than a cover by some other band.
