"Spoke with Billy Howerdel yesterday about his forthcoming project Ashes Divide. The album will be out in March, and the single "The Stone" will world premiere on hardDrive the weekend of Jan 12. Listen for Billy on the show the weekend of Jan 19. Interesting item about the record, Maynard's son Devo, who is 11, appears on the album playing cello! And Billy also revealed that he performed on the Guns 'N Roses "Chinese Democracy" cd! He started out helping Robin Fincke with some work and then it evolved into working with Axl and eventually becoming their "computer guy." Who would've guessed THAT!!!???....." I don't think he came back to since then, so I guess his work will not be relevant to the final album.
