Title: What if someone sued you, and won? Post by: AbominableHoman on December 07, 2007, 08:44:59 PM You ever wonder what you'd do if someone sued you over something trivial, and won a large sum of money? What would you do? Would you pay the appropriate amount? What if you had a family, and that was at risk?
It's something I think about. I've ran into several people who have been awarded ~$10-50,000 suits that were against various different companies. This falls more or less into a Double Jeoprady type situation, but interesting none the less. Title: Re: What if someone sued you, and won? My father was neurotically frantically procedural. I cannot remember a period without a court case. I don't want to live like that, with visible or invisible ennemies. If I lose this case, I am contractually obligated to pay their lawyer fees, as well as mine. It's a lot to chew on.

It's cost me a good chunk of change and I haven't even really gotten started yet. If I lose this case, I am contractually obligated to pay their lawyer fees, as well as mine. It's a lot to chew on. And yet it's on every tabloid. We live in a different world I guess. So you don't try to sue anyone here for trivial reasons because it just won't work. Criminals can get away with anything...
