I wonder how that happen. Of course I agree, its one of my favorite songs of all time. But people often chose November Rain, Civil War, PC in those kind of lists...

 : ok:yeah... i'd pick estranged over November Rain anyday. Estranged is much more diverse and expirament. NR is your standard rock ballad... just over 7 mins long.

Finally! "Estranged" gets some belated but much needed love. I would have also included "Coma."

My choice would have been Coma too but awesome to see Estranged there! :beer:

I like November Rain too though... though I think I like the ending alot better than anything else in the song...

Coma probably would have been my choice too though, that's a crazy song. :]

I'd actually throw "Breakdown" into the ring while we're at it. I'd put that above "November Rain" as well. I mean no disservice to NR, but "Breakdown" is one of my all-time favorite GN'R songs. And it just makes the cut.

Suprised that ESTRANGED made it and not Nov. Rain. Many of the songs on the list are drawn out and would have been better as 4-5 min. songs, ie Purple Rain, thats what makes GN'R so great.As long as the songs are they do not become repetetive.

LOVE Estranged, but COMA is where it's at.

Breakdown is simply beautiful.  Axl's lyrics are sheer poetry!

Good to finaly see Estranged getting a bit of credit.

i do agree however there are a few other GNR songs that could have been on the list, Coma is the obvious, breakdown would have been good to see.


Also, that list had a few other decent songs on it (a change for RS)

They've usually done just top music videos, and guns n' roses' November Rain would mostly always be mentioned if had to be picked...

I don't think I've heard of too many top songs shows.

I don't know, all those lame sound effects and the people talking in Coma is incredibly cheesy and the main riff is pretty bland and unimaginative as far as GNR goes. All that nonsense with the defibulator is just silly and makes the song kind of embarrassing. The guitar solo is alright but nowhere near as good as any of the solos in Estranged or November Rain. The last couple minutes of Coma is GNR at their best in my opinion, but the other 6 minutes, not so much. I'd put Estranged, November Rain, and Breakdown all above Coma.

Good list for a change.

Lots of people seem to think it should've been a different song. While I like alot of the other longer GNR tunes, I really think Estranged is the best of the best. Kind of a weird list to make in the first place, but maybe RS was bored, lol.
