Title: UGH... WMA to MP3 conversion... Post by: thereisnodanaonlyz on December 03, 2007, 12:31:25 AM Yup... exactly as the subject suggests...
I downloaded/subscribed to Yahoo Music's Jukebox thing.? A pretty sweet deal they offer but obviously the songs are in "WMA" format.? How lame... This requires buying a separate conversion program. The only one i could find that really worked even slightly was "AllMusicConverter" aka "SoundTaxi." Runs like shit on Vista.? You can really only convert like, 20 songs at a time before you get the "R&R Installer" problem and need to restart your computer to resume. Anyone else use any other conversion programs that work well? Title: Re: UGH... WMA to MP3 conversion... Post by: Genesis on December 03, 2007, 12:56:26 AM You can use any audio editor. Goldwave and Easy CDDA File Converter are the best IMO. They're not free, of course ;D
I don't know if DRM protected WMA's work with these programs. I'm guessing not. Title: Re: UGH... WMA to MP3 conversion... Post by: SamBob on December 03, 2007, 01:09:54 AM I heard Vista's pretty lame. My ex has that, and it's annoying like hell. :[
I'm sure you can download a conversion somewhere, right? My little brother somehow did that, anyways. Title: Re: UGH... WMA to MP3 conversion... Post by: TAP on December 03, 2007, 02:30:00 PM http://www.dbpoweramp.com/
You'll have to download the wma codec separately I think. Title: Re: UGH... WMA to MP3 conversion... Post by: Howard2k on December 04, 2007, 06:14:35 PM Is it encrypted WMA?
If not - iTunes for Windows will convert from WMA to MP3. |
