Dude last time GNR was touring I was in a trench in the middle of a Freakin' desert fighting camel spiders and guerilla soldiers.  I know they got things to do but the boys and I would appreciate some tunes this way instead lame Jessica Simpson (though she ain't bad to look at), etc.

As far as GN'R not supporting the War, I've never heard that. Thankfully Axl N' company stay away from political issues. These celeberties,Bruce, Sean Penn, Eddie Vedder etc, forcing their political beliefs down their fans throats are so damn annoying.
All I've ever heard Axl say about  War was back during Desert Storm he stated something to the effect of I don't care whether or not you support the war  as long as you support the soldiers.

I was watching Indiana '91 the other day, and after Civil War, axl says dedicates it to all the military people there, and say thatwhile he isn't a big fan of the war, now that they're in it, everyone should "fuckin' root for their side" which seems like a fairly sensible idea to me. 

Maybe he's changed his mind now, but in '91 that is how he felt.
