themselves by talking about GNR 4 years before VR got together.  Even in 1999 they were this way... (sarcastic tone).  Ha!

I thought the story went that the first time they played together after leaving GNR was when they played the Randy Castillo tribute show and that's when they decided to form what is now VR??  ???

I don't think this gig is mentioned in Slash's book....

He does say that the Randy Castillo tribute "was the first time that that many members of Guns had played together in years".

Oddly he says members of Guns, when they're all former members.  ;)

You really should clear things up for him When it comes to  how he may and may not call himself.

"The five of us played this gig," Slash recalled, "and it was just insane. It was just really powerful, and Steven Tyler got up with us, and it was just an amazing night. And so we all talked about it, the chemistry, and how that was the first time we had all played together, really played together, since Guns broke up. And so we started writing songs."

Gypsy note:  "The five of us" that Slash is referring to was Slash, Duff, Matt, Josh Todd and Keith Nelson.  The "amazing night" was the benefit for the family of Randy Castillo.

Do you have anything to add?

Or do you just like following me around?

You're a funny guy.  : ok:

Do you really think I give a fuck if Slash calls himself LeftToDecay and lives in the NIN thread? No.

Imagine that I just posted something that caught my eye. What a big mistake.

All the Internet cool guys and comedians will think I'm such a loser.  :-\

Oh no!

If I wanted be cool, well as cool as a geek can get, I'd say "this book is great! It's so honest! Slash is the coolest! Now I know everything that really happened behind the scenes, I'm so happy! Hooray! Everybody else lies! Maybe Slash lied once, but he had to because it's cool!".

The funny thing is, not many of you are prepared to address the issues. You attack me for pointing out errors in the book, but if you were to be believed there's nothing wrong with the book. It's like the perfect book. These are the "objective fans" who are upset that they're not allowed to bash GN'R on a GN'R site.

Please.  ::)

Well now, Imagine it just made  2 of us there?

geeks
cool  geeks
"you guys"
real fans
"objective fans"

So much categorizing :)

When it comes to your little black book,  I'd like to have my name removed from the mysterious  "you guys" category if that is possible?
I don't remember ever posting anything truly mean spirited about new or old gnr in here.
Maybe I said they all have been utter assholes  from time to time. But if that isn't just stating the obvious then I don't know what is.
