Yes, come to Vegas....

I went and saw Kenny Wayne Shepherd at the Joint last week, and the whole time I kept imagining Gn'R up on that stage... :)

It doesn't even have to be on New Year's eve. ANY DATE? the days after Christmas would be fine. Dec 29th, 2001 was one of the best days of my life! Dec 27th, 28th and the 30th are still open at the JOINT!

Is this a request section or something?

If you wanna give Axl ideas, the Pearl at the Palms is still available on NYE ...(edt: oops not any more).....Yeah, what would he do without us, right?? :hihi:

If the band is ready and doing shows around that time make sense, I am sure they will book something somewhere.

if Axl needs a venue I have some space available for free, and its right off the strip.  :peace:    we could fit the band and like 100 ppl or so.

exactly.   GNR + Vegas = Perfect.  It does not get any better.   I would love to see them come play more shows here because they always do great and they can always sell it out.

how about the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska?

its got a really nice hotel you can stay at across the street.

you don't even have to go outside theres a bridge that connects it all so that way you don't have to deal with all your crazy ass fans

PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

Nebraska?  :hihi:

At least Vegas has a chance of happening!  Vegas, LA, NYC.. any of those cities would be perfect atmospheres for a date or two to keep the band fresh.   It sounds like they were at their best in Japan..

No worries there....there are dozens of other venues in Las Vegas that seat 6000-12000 people...there's usually one in each big casino, etc.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. The Goo Goo Dolls had the House of Blues booked for New Year's '00 before GNR came on too.

Jarmo I am not trying to get anyones hopes up or anything, but The Goo Goo Dolls are always listed for some reason. They don't always play. I think they are thier back plan or something.

Man I would love to see them in a small venue in Vegas again. Hope my job works out so I can go if they do something in the near future!!

forget vegas this year....play Atlantic City!!  : ok:

it's close to NY, no one will have to deal with the craziness of NYC on NYE, it has great venues of all sizes, and a great place to party.

I was just listening to my favorite song, IT'S AN AXL CHRISTMAS, and I thought I would put my Christmas wish out there. I also want a diamond and sapphire Hello Kitty necklace! I probably won't get either one, but hey a girl can dream! Vegas is nice because it's warm and no worries of snow in the winter! NYC is WAYYY too expensive during the holidays!

I would say that Jarmo is more of a Christmas Elf. Uncle Axl is Santa. It's an AXL CHRISTMAS, It's a Hard rock holiday, and we're all singing WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE ALL THE WAY. We'll sleigh ride over Paradise City and if we're feeling rude, we'll burn down all The Christmas trees and then we'll get tattooed. Check it out, www.spongeawareness.com/music/axl.html

Right, its about GNR in Vegas and I merely stated that their shows should be open to the general public, don't you think?? Some people might think twice before making plans to fly there, stay at a hotel, and see the show if there's a chance of being banned from attending - how unfriendly and unwelcoming.?

it wasn't banned to the general public.   if you don't understand why they didn't need Slash present for the 2001 lineup's first show, then I don't know what else to tell you.   you really think someone like Slash would just blend in the crowd unnoticed  ::)   Even Slash himself said this was management decision, not Axls.    Any excuse you slash fan's have to bring him up in this section, you do it, and it gets really fucking old.
