has anyone herd of this ?
my stepdad was in this war.and i herd they are giving funds to veterans and widows.there is like 60 billion dollars tawards this.anyone know anything about this ?

it was a war that they weren't soppossed to be at.something secret or after vienam.around 1956 the year was .im not sure but my mom knows all about it from my stepdad.

A bill to recognize veterans of this era passed in the House but was rejected by the senate.

You should be a bit more specific as to which conflict he was a part of as the actual Cold War lasted 50 years.

Tax breaks are available for Cold War veterans in NY, not sure about your state.

Also, maybe you mean the Korean War?  The Vietnam war did not end until 1975.

the war was soppossed to not be acknoledged as far as i know.and now it is starting to be.but when my mom talked to someone on the phone they knew right away.it's under the disbursement department for veterans.so im not sure what will become of  this.

The US lost a few men in China carrying out "black ops", but the State Dept. still won't recognize their deaths. The Cold War probably began with the currency crisis at the London Conference, and ended when the Soviet Union collapsed.
