I liked Rock am Ring-awsome, great camera work (pro shot).

I can't explain why, but I have found the LA Gibson Amphitheater? December 19 or 20? the best version I've heard.  I love the pro-shot footage of rock-am-ring especially with the lucky crowd getting the run-by from Axl during the song, but the running takes a little bit of a toll on the vocals.

Download was cool to. Axl and the band sounded great. And the way Axl glared at the crowd while standing still was differant/cool.

Download and Budokan got the best versions of the song, for sure.

The first night in Finland was insane too.

I think the best ''Better'' version is the one at the Gibson Amphitheatre At Universal Citywalk, the 17th of December 2006

Axl sings very tightly all the song, and Bumblefoot does an amazing work.

I think the Rock Am Ring 2006 is the best version out there. That was the version that made me a BIG fan of the song.
I still think the demo's pale in comparison to how great it sounds live.
Download 2006 is the next best version. Its funny how Axl doesn't even move around for that and then Tommy gets his with a bottle and threatens to leave the show.

I like this version from Italy 2006. I think this will be my 3rd fav version.

I think I've heard just about every version that's available, and the best is almost definitely is Universal Amphitheater 12/19/06 or 12/20/06. They were ON FIRE both those nights...

i dont think its pre recorded at the end, i think it may be chris pitman doing back up vocals, i've heard that he can sound quite like Axl when he sings.

just for the hell of it here is the best "vocal performance" i have found of the blues.

i think in a lot of the live versions of the Blues, axls vocals are terrible at the beggining, on this occasion though, awesome.

I can say with 100% certainty, that is not "pre-recorded."  I had a blast in New Jersey and that Better is amazing...I just wish December 19 had the same high quality and 2 cams.   :beer:

By the way, to those who haven't seen it live (which I know is very few here) the videos don't come close to the live experience.   :peace:

bet the latest one is the best but damn I love every performance of this song.

Dublin version was awesome I thought. Shame no pro version could show how could it is. Think once the general public hears this it could have cult appeal!

Rock Am Ring isn't the best version band-wise, but it was what made me a fan of Guns N' Roses. Sure Axl's voice isn't the best he has sounded on the track, but there is something very heartfelt about that performance.

The "Na na na na" give me chills every single time.

On the 1st post, the link to you tube with better in Italy,      what is the song at the beginning of the video,  ain't going down no more?   I've never heard that before, what is that?
