Title: The bike Post by: Rhino on November 08, 2007, 05:35:14 PM When I was young there was a kid on my street with a very interesting really cool bike. All the other kids would come ride the bike because it was the coolest of the bikes. All the kids thanked him for having such a cool bike and letting them ride on it and say whatever they wanted on that great bike?..that was one of the coolest things about the bike, in fact it?s what ultimately what made the bike so cool. After a while, that kid, because of his bikes great popularity, became very arrogant and demanding?.his bikes popularity went to his head and he thought his opinion was better than all the other kids. He started to tell all the other kids what they could and couldn?t say while they rode his bike?he even refused to let some kids ride it at all. After a while all the kids stopped coming to take a ride on that bike and it wasn?t so cool any more.I wonder what ever happened to that kid and his bike?
.....It sure was cool in its day though. Title: Re: The bike Post by: CSS on November 08, 2007, 05:36:33 PM How cool.
Was it Axl Rose? Title: Re: The bike Post by: Rhino on November 08, 2007, 05:37:53 PM Title: Re: The bike Post by: daviebuckethead on November 08, 2007, 05:42:15 PM was it jarmo?
hahahaha! just kidding. but seriously, was it? Title: Re: The bike Post by: jarmo on November 08, 2007, 06:17:09 PM You know what's funny?
All the whiners posting one of the following: You think you're better than us! What about freedom of speech! You hate the old band! It's all a bunch of fucking bullshit. Just because I don't want to let you use this site as a place for you to spew your fucking whining day after day, doesn't mean I think I'm better than you. I just don't want your kind around. It's boring and it's been done to death for years. You seem to think I'm doing this all for you. Well here's a newsflash, I'm not. I've never tried to figure out what the hell you're after. I'm only doing what I think is right and if somebody else likes it, great. We've had a shit load of stuff happening in the past 1.5 years but some of you still expect me to behave like it's 1999. Just because you're miserable and have to keep whining day after day doesn't mean I have to sink to your level. /jarmo Title: Re: The bike Post by: fuckin crazy on November 08, 2007, 06:21:24 PM It is his fucking bike. He can do with it whatever he wants. Especially when some of the riders start crashing the thing and trying to ride it over jumps, busting the tires, and generally treating his bike like crap.

The good thing is that are bikes for free on internet and you don't have to use this kids one anymore if you don't like it. :) Title: Re: The bike Post by: jarmo on November 08, 2007, 07:30:58 PM ^ Ditto. The good thing is that are bikes for free on internet and you don't have to use this kids one anymore if you don't like it. :) You don't have to use this one if it's really too difficult to ride without support wheels. Other bikes might have support wheels and no matter what you do, you'll never fall. Here you will, and when you do it might hurt a bit and you might cry. But that's what you get for trying to ride the bike without listening to how others tell you you should be riding or copying other's way of riding.. : ok: /jarmo Title: Re: The bike Post by: norway on November 08, 2007, 08:28:59 PM The GNR-Sites hates eachother? suprise! :hihi:

So, there's other places. Why do you treat yourself to post here if you don't like it? Seriously, why? i still post here because, believe it or not, i do like it here. I Just think its very sad how the board has completely changed over the last 2 years. there was a time (pun intended) when topics/ people could be mentioned in the main section without fear of being removed/ opinions bashed. MY OPINION, is that the boards policies and view points have changed decidedly since the owner of this board has been in direct contact with the band/ friends of the band. It is my beleif that the owner of this board is in a "catch 22", he believes that by carrying and supporting the opinions/ policies of the band that he will be "rewarded", and to this end, he has been rewarded (back stage access etc.). if he allows other opinions/conversations to occur that may annoy members of the band, he immediately pulls them, or hides them away in a dark corner of the website for fear of losing his "privelidges". I can completly understand his predicament, he has been given access to his favourite band and its a dream come true. Its just sad that freedom of speach has been sacraficed as a consequence of that. Title: Re: The bike Post by: jarmo on November 11, 2007, 10:08:03 AM What you think I believe and what I actually believe are two completely different things.
The only reason things have changed here a bit are because things have changed regarding GN'R. Funny you mention two years. Do you remember 2005? There were no shows for us to attend. GN'R wasn't exactly in the media. Axl wasn't singing on three songs on his friend's album. Etc etc etc. Things have changed, no shit. But there's a pretty logical explanation. I've explained it. It's not 2005 anymore. No need to be the same bitter whiny person you were back then. /jarmo Title: Re: The bike Post by: cotis on November 11, 2007, 10:24:24 AM did the bike have training wheels?

Old music was better, the old scene was better, the old board was better, the old band was better.....for you everything was better in the past? If so, what will become of you in the future? Or, have you ever been happy with the present? Do you enjoy anything new? Maybe when you say anything nice you don' mean it but just lay on the butter expecting something in return. but don't expect voodoo to be on a same level with you. voodoo doesn't post what he doesn't think right. He's been a big supporter of GNR for long. He is one of the few posters along with 33 norway, nytunz etc who were everly positive when I first came here a few years ago and haven't changed.
