I saw this, and thought Jerry came off as an ass.

Larry Sanders is the one who's a real ass at times.  Funny dude, but he seems like he can be a real twat.

I think that Jerry was annoyed that Larry is so out of touch and not prepared.  It started out as just banter but then I think Seinfeld said Fuck it why isn't this guy prepared.  What does his staff do?  How could Larry be so out of touch and not know simple things.  There are a bunch of videos of Larry not knowing what's going on.  He gets a ton of money too.  5 to 9 million a year.  Anderson Cooper is waiting to take over the show.  Maybe he can just use Larry as part of the chair because I think at this point he may have molded into the shape of the chair.  Give Larry some viagra and Anderson will fit right on.  I don't know if the rumors to be true but I think Cooper would be a good choice to take over for Larry.

Instead of  him being genuinely pissed or annoyed.

When Larry King interviewed Pamela Anderson, he didn't know her breasts were fake.... seriously.  She wasn't as irritated as Seinfeld,
but certainly surprised.

I saw the show when he interviewed Kid Rock (2 weeks ago), and larry kept harping on the pam anderson thing,
Kid is like "i thought I was here to talk about my album"

He needs to go. He is like old people driving a car who don't know what they are doing and shouldn't have their license. I would have been annoyed too. He's made his stash of cash, move on. But actually, I thought the whole thing was hilarious because he gave it right back to Larry and no one has done that even with all the bullshit questions he asks. He used to be respected and if he still wants to be respected, he should hang it up now and get out before he becomes completely senile.

You ask a question just like Larry King. Although even if he was, he probably wouldn't even remember it and have to ask Seinfeld if he plays a part.

Interesting choice of words. Noone ever seems to mention anyone else's religious status. Over-paid catholic, under-rated protestant, arrogant baptist, etc. You just don't hear that. But luckily you're here to point out the Jews.

Seinfeld is one of the best shows ever IMO.

I think Jerry had every right to give Larry crap about not knowing if Seinfeld was canceled or not. I could understand why Jerry would take it as kind of insulting and Larry should have done a little research considering the salary he gets.

No, just seinfeld, and he was already singled out from the moment this thread was started.  Glad you could see past the words, excellent choice of stupidity and prediagnosis of me as prejudice or only singling out a group of people on your part.   Btw, Larry King isn't even really relevant anymore.

A comedian who is funny and  at the same time not being vulgar is a great comedian.

Larry King is almost unwatchable but Seinfeld has to be the most overrated Tv Show of all time.

He was paid 50 million for just syndication.  Many thought he rated pretty high.  Cash King show

If it's the best show on television... and everyone rates it the best show on television... then I'd say it's rated pretty accurately, neither under nor over.

How do you overrate one of the best 2 or 3 comedy series of all time?  I mean ... name 3 comedies that are or were better.  I'd say Cheers, Mash and maybe Two and Half Men .... maybe.

I can't believe people are putting a relative newbie show like Two and a Half Men in the same league as Seinfeld.

but how could you say Seinfeld is overrated?? its one of the funniest shows!! there are so many memorable episodes.

If you've ever watched the show, you'd know it has, by far, the best combination of writing and comedic timing since Seinfeld went off the air.  And you can't call it a newbie show half way through its 5th season.  I'll agree that it has to go another 4 or 5 years to be put in the same category as Seinfeld of Cheers.  That's why I said "maybe".

Scrubs cannot be placed above 2 1/2 Men.  That's just silly.

He's not really......I mean he's a good comedian, but as far as his stand-up goes....it gets a little stale after a while.  The great thing about Seinfeld the show was the superb writing, amazing cast and constant revolving guest characters.  Everyone takes something from Seinfeld and relates to it......be it Jerry's interactions; George's (my fav. character) womanizing, lazy, cheating ways; Kramer's goofy slapstick antics; Elaine's plain beauty, coolness; Newman...and his feud with Jerry; Uncle Leo; Jerry's annoying parents; Jackie Chiles; Bubble Boy; Mr. Peterman; Kenny Bania; Putty....the endless list of girlfriends and boyfriends, etc.
