Media News Up From Fire!

As of press time, the wildfires that began over the weekend of the 21st of October, have killed at least five people and more than 70 people have been injured by smoke and flames. The howling 60-mph winds along with the 90-degree heat overwhelmed firefighters around the seven Southern California counties. Celebrities such as Matthew McConaughey and his Brazilian model girlfriend, Camilla Alves, were photographed paddling on the sea to escape the Malibu fire. According to published reports, firefighters in Malibu were spotted spraying protective foam on the homes of movie mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg, while other homes were dumped with water from helicopters such as the home of Courtney Cox. The celeb-studded Malibu blaze continued to spread and threaten multimillion-dollar homes where some of the famous elite live, such as Star Wars actor Mark Hamill and Olivia Newton-John, Jennifer Aniston, Mel Gibson, Titanic director James Cameron, Suzanne Somers, Kelsey Grammer, Victoria Principal, media mogul David Geffen, and Axl Rose. Actress Suzanne Somers who was staying in a temporary Malibu home was once again forced to flee where she was living since another blaze torched her oceanfront home back in January.

Investigators found at least two ignition points for the blaze that engulfed multi million-dollar homes in the ritzy hills of Orange County that were set by one or more arsonists, authorities said. The tragic California wildfires are thus far TV news? biggest story in a long time, and the ratings due prove it. The fires became a national topic worldwide. On a personal note, my heart goes out to everyone who suffered from this sad and tragic blazing inferno.

While some celebrities were trying to evacuate and flee, Kid Rock was being arrested early Sunday, October 21, during a pit stop at a Waffle House in Atlanta. Kid Rock (real name: Robert Ritchie Jr.) and five members of his entourage got into a fight with a male hashed browns-loving customer, which ended with the musician?s arrest on a misdemeanor charge of simple battery, the Associated Press reports. The customer recognized a female with Kid Rock?s party and talked to her, which ?escalated to a physical brawl between Kid Rock and the fellow customer and moved outside to the parking lot,? said Mekka Parish, a spokeswoman for the DeKalb County Police Department. After the brawl (in which the other customer allegedly knocked out a window of the diner), Kid Rock left in his tour bus, but was stopped by police a mile from the restaurant. It was just last month that he tangled with Tommy Lee, Pamela Anderson?s ex-hubby, the ex of his ex, at the MTV Video Music Awards. Kid Rock and five members of his party were taken into custody and were booked and held for about 12 hours before being released from the county jail on bond about 5 p.m.

There is a new drug in Hollywoodland that has not yet been approved by the FDA, called TMZamil, wrote LA writer Brian Frazer. This pill is supposed to help the fan or fame seeker. It forces the cerebral cortex to stop caring more about celebrity relationships than your own. However, beware the side effects may include falling in love with a human you?ve actually met.

If you?re a fan of ?Dancing with the Stars? you watched the collapse of Marie Osmond on ABC?s live broadcast a few weeks ago. After she finished a samba with her partner, dancer Jonathan Roberts, and was listening to comments from the show?s judges she fainted. Marie, 48, who recently celebrated a birthday on Oct. 13, was well enough to take part in the next segment. Miss Osmond then explained on-air that ?once in a while that happens to me when I get winded. I stop breathing.? She then giggled. Marie, who also designs porcelain dolls on QVC, was awarded seven out of 10 possible points by judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman.

I think they're just controlled now? Not sure if they're 'DONE'. Although I haven't heard much on them in the news in the past couple days.

The Malibu fire has been fully extinguished for quite some time now.

They just can't seem to get a handle on the Orange County fire.

I heard that people who were insured with a certain company had their houses sprayed with a fire retardent substance that prevented them from burning. If you weren't insured they let your house burn...I think that's a fucking disgrace!! It was a similar situation in New Orleans. I think the american government should do more to protect all their people and not just the rich.

It's the same in all countries, you can either pay for the best life possible, or you can't.
And it's been like this for thousands of years too, so get used to it.

im from Mexico so i dont know for sure , but what i heard on cnn was that some houses had a automatic spray thing to keep their house safe , but it was something you could install in your house for about 10 thousand dll.  i think that was it , not that they let some houses burn .
