Hands down some of the most clever writing I have seen in some time.

I watch it...DAILY!

I am curious to see how the show will be if a Dem wins the White House.  It's been a while, and I don't remember the show having such a left-wing bent to it, until Iraq happened.  Not that they don't rip on the Dems, but it usually falls into GOP = evil, Dems = worthless...curious to see if/how that will change.

I haven't been watching it as much as I used to... but I do when I find the time, and Jon Stewart still cracks me up.

They will find flaws to chirp on no matter who's in the White House... and they will still be able to rag on the 24 hour news stations.   : ok:

I tried to watch last night, and it was a re-run...are they on ANOTHER week long vacation?  Seem like they take one every month.

Yes, they simply look for absurdity in the system itself.

I remember when he roasted Hillary and the crowd mumbled. His response: "Oh you don't like it when it's your guy huh?"

It is hard tp believe Russert pulled it off with a straight face.

Was gonna comment on the daily show and whether than start a new thread I found this one.

Anybody been watching the daily show latley? It took a surprizing more serious tone this past week in its reporting and sometimes comedic reporting of CNBC and their Host of Mad Money Jim Cramer. Stewart has been slamming, i think rightfully so, CNBC and Cramer for not recognizing the opportunity for the bubble to bust in the stock market.

In his latest show, Stewart interviews Cramer. Well, really he slammed him and I kind of felt sorry for Cramer but he knew what he was getting into. It was an intersting piece and though its not up yet, when it is, you should check out the full interview on http://www.thedailyshow.com What was shown on tv was definetly interesting. Stewart asks some of the same questions a layman such as myself asks and its an interesting bit to watch. I know I will be checking out the full interview once it goes up. The show had about 10-15 minutes devoted to the interview and it was really entertaining.

Anybody else been watching latley? What do you guys think?  :smoking:
