Chris Jericho is on Wrestling Observer Live right now, and someone called in and asked about the Eddie Trunk Interview from last year.

Jericho said Axl was cool, but before he entered the studio, an older woman (Beta) came in and literally sniffed the air to make sure the vibes were alright for Axl to enter the room.

I don't know where you get this opinion of Beta.  Axl said she took him into her family and he's happy with her.  Other band members have said she is nice, a saint.  Once she came on this board and lost her shit because of a bunch of little whiney ass bitches but who hasn't done that?  You've got a complaint about Axl take it to him and quit picking on his family.

I've seen this story pop up online from time to time and to me it didn't "smell" right.

So I contacted Beta and here's their response:


"This falls under "Stupid people say stupid things.

It never happened. We'd assume Chris was joking as that's his schtick and Axl was the 1st one in the room from our group.

That anyone would run with this nonsense seems a bit desperate to find anything (regardless of how far fetched or absurd it might be) to support whatever their fucked up agenda might be."

It's funny how even absurd rumors can get spread.

Id say Jericho was just being sarcastic with all the shit that's been said over the years. I do remember reading in Rolling Stone though where Axl would take pictures and stuff for her to analyze........ I dont know if thats true or not but it sounds interesting. Im not gonna judge anybody though, I mean if u are into that kind of thing, it could be cool.

That story was about something that allegedly happened in the 90s but the "her" they were referring to was NOT Beta.

I'll always remember Beta from that first interview out of Brazil.  She was wonderfully funny.

Yes, that was obviously a sarcastic remark from Chris, playing on all the insane stories about Axl's behavior. Also, wasn't the events that transpired prior to Axl entering the Eddie Trunk studio broadcast live on air? I don't remember anyone entering the studio before Axl did (I remember them saying "he's in the building", "coming up...", "here he is"....)

So there's nothing left to discuss, then.  Perhaps this thread can be put out of its misery?
