Speaking of Californication,  did anyone pick up the new guns n roses album comparison, when david duchovny was being interviewed about when he'd release his next book.

As I checked some other sections, and did not see, have we mentioned the new Replacements book, "The Replacements: All Over But The Shouting-A Oral History"? At least for the Tommy parts?

Not only are there some great anecdotes, but some killer pics, even Tommy's middle school yearbook photo on Page 52. And the pic of him with brother Bob circa 1992 on Page 263-WOW.

Okay, this is more 'Mats related, I agree, but at least it will give a better history to all the rest of the GNR fan clan pf Tommy's past. I mean, while we're passing the time waiting for "You Know What", might as well catch up on some reading and listening to of that OTHER GREAT BAND from the 1980s..... : ok:

Tommy sounds like Dylan doing a Stones cover! Light of Day is extremely Dylanesque as well, right down to the vocal nuances. : ok:

It's still listed on iTunes, but you can't buy the song alone. It says "album only".....

I can't find it on iTunes...

Damn, I really want to listen to this one...

Link anyone?

ALSO, something I couldn't find on the board, did you know that the song "Hey You" is on the soundtrack for the movie "In The Land Of Women"?

EDIT: Found it. Had to search on the US version of iTunes... Unfortunately my account is only valid for the Greek iTunes store. Fuck iTunes.

Just finished the entire first season of Californication...

Damn, it was a cool series, and listening to Tommy made it even cooler.

Plus the fact that there are quite a few GN'R mentions and hints in between the lines...
