Title: The Last Fight finally cracks the top 20 on Mainstream Rock
Post by: Eazy E on September 27, 2007, 04:39:00 PM
It moved up to #17 from #21...

http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/charts/chart_display.jsp?f=Hot+Mainstream+Rock+Tracks&pageNumber=Top+11-20&g=Singles

It felt like the song's run was over before it began, but it's a good thing that it's airplay is still increasing.   : ok:

Hopefully this will just continue.  It's too good a song to not get heard.  It's honestly a lot better than several of the songs higher than it on that chart.

I'm starting to loose any hope for success of this album. I'm not a big VR fan but I at least like this song and I'm shocked it didn't (hasn't) done better.

But I feel the same way about the new Buckcherry material as well. It's great stuff and it's just not being played enough to get album sales.

I think the song is cheesy.

I think "Let It Roll" is a cool song. . and i liked Slither and YGNR on the first album.  so not everything, but yes lots of it does suck and people are too sensitive.

I know JB, I was just teasing them ;)

I like some of the songs too, and fuck I bought both albums.

You Got No Right and Get Out The Door are good songs IMO. But that's it for me. When I listen to the rest of the material I'm always thinking something like "I've heard that before".

from what I see, you're quite sensitive (if not emotional) about your hero(es) as well.

lol, you cant be sensitive as a VR fan and come to this place, I was just having a sense of humor about the whole thing. Reading the same old VR sucks post everytime gets kinda old for me.  I just take your opinion with a giant grain of salt jimbob, you spend as much time as me here, the comedic difference being that you dislike the band and VR is my favorite current band going. The personal attacks you made on scott that didnt relate to music in anyway are just some of the things that cause me to not take your opinion seriously at all.

I am glad to see the video getting some play on VH-1. I have yet to hear it on the radio but hell our local station is so far behind they just finally started playing SBQM's. Rock radio is horrible especially here, hell you would think the Doobie Brothers and Rush were new artists. I wish they would play the 80's and 90's stuff on classic rock radio the way they do that 70's arena rock shit.  The only time i here fm radio is at work , my secretary usually has the local rock station on in her office, if i do listen to fm it is public broadcasting as they have a great program called "Crossing Boundaries" on in the evening that plays alot of stuff like the Jayhawks, Ryan Adams, Wilco etc amd of late they have been playing alot of 90's acts.

Last Fight is a good not great song.

Definitely doesnt have the broad appeal that a Fall to Pieces had.

I never really liked this song as a single...............................

I think they rushed it as a single. I think they should have came right back with a rocker. Then brought out the ballad.
