I did a version of Madagascar in a Tom Waits raspy growl voice months before the demo of Madagascar leaked. Everyone criticized me for singing it too raspy and said it needed clean vocals (as up until then, Axl had only sung it in his "clean" rasp). Then, the real demo leaked, and people here were claiming I was the singer and saying there was "no way it's really Axl" and one guy made a thread accusing me of creating a "fake" demo and claiming it was GN'R. I was getting PMs from people telling me I was a bastard for leaking a fake leak. Of course, it turned out to be legitimate. I still have my version of Madagascar lying about somewhere on my HD, if I can find it I'll post it and you can hear for yourself.
