MTV built his ego when they shoved him and Limp Bizkit down our throats, then subsequently ushered in the trend that it was cool to hate him. Limp Bizkit had their moments, and Fred Durst should be cut some fuckin' slack. That's my two cents.

Funny story though, some fuckwad friend of mine was listening to my iPod and he sees "Behind Blue Eyes" and goes, "Oh shit I love this song." Sure enough he clicks it and goes, "What the hell....this sucks, I like Fred Durst's version better...who are these guys". Strike 1: Touching my iPod. Strike 2: Claiming Fred Durst is better than The Who. Strike 3: Not knowing who The Who are. Eat a dick former friend of mine....wherever the hell you are. Seriously I love Limp's version WAYYYYYYYY better The guitar solo in the Who's version is completely out of place and pointless and I actually WAY Prefer Durst's vocals. When I was 6 I remember asking a cool teenage dude about his Who badge. "The Who" it said. I informed the dude that that simply made no sense. "Who's the Who" I asked.
