Anyone know where I can find a list of CD's released through the GNR fanclub?  Thanks!

I didn't know about this.

Is it just a question or you know for sure that the fan club has released cd's?

I read somewhere a few months ago that the Fan club released CD's in the late 80's.  Session stuff... i can't remember where I saw it... but it also had a list of the stuff they released

It might be true, but as far as I remember, back in the late 80's or the early 90's cd's were really expensive to be given for free.

Anyway, I'll be waiting for answers as well...  : ok:

Well I found a page that has a list of boots... and this is one of the albums listed:

http://texasrat.com/gunsnroses/h/cd.html#uyi

The pic says it is a fanclub release (look at the picture of the back of the disc)... but who knows if that's true. ?I have seen this page before, but this is not the one I was looking for. ?Any more info from people would be helpful.

If that's what you're talking about, then it's from a bootleg company.

My guess is that bootleg companies used the "fan club release" phrase as a way to cover up the fact that it was a bootleg...

Here is the link to the guide that you were talking about:

http://ladydairhean.0catch.com/Axl/guides.htm

I think she makes it pretty clear at the top of that page that what she has listed there are bootlegs (although I don't know why she calls them Fan Club releases???? - maybe she should call them CD's made by groups of GN'R fans).

Whilst I don't believe that there were any FanClub CD releases, over the years I have seen 2 different 7" vinyls that come up on ebay every 4 or 5 months and they are called "Fan Club" releases.  It's the same couple of picture sleeves that always get described as this when they are listed.  I can't seem to find any pics of them at the moment, but I think they had a some live tracks on them and I recall the item description saying that they were only available to GN'R Fan Club members when they came out.

Who knows if it was true.  As Jarmo said it may have just been a ploy by a bootleg company to put that on the back of the sleeve to try and legitimse their product.

I'll keep looking for some pics of them.

Well, there was an official fan club, as seen on the 'Lies' cover(Conspiracy Inc.), so just what did they send out?
