Title: TV Show "The Shield" Post by: Journeyman on August 22, 2007, 11:11:11 AM Do you know this show? Its written by Shawn Ryan (later he wrote "The Unit"), with actors like Michael Chiklis, Forest Withaker, Glen Close, etc...
Im a huge fan, and know we're waiting for the 7 season, wich will be the last. Its an intense cop show, but nothing like the traditional cop shows. The storylines just got quite a bit far fetched and I lost interest. You know it was based on real facts. A special team inside the police that got their hands dirty and went down with it. The Shield doesnt follow those facts from the beginning till the end but its from that story that all began.
