Title: danger danger Post by: mrlee on August 05, 2007, 07:40:12 PM got there screw it album recently, such a fun feelgood typical melodic 80s AOR music, anyone else enjoy this band or that album?
monkey business is classic feelgood cheese! Title: Re: danger danger Post by: bazgnr on August 05, 2007, 07:52:56 PM "Beat the Bullet" always gets me, especially the ending "ready-aim-FIRE!" part. Cheesy harmonies abound, but it's all good to me.
Title: Re: danger danger Post by: mrlee on August 06, 2007, 07:10:05 AM its a great melodic rock song though, i love the guitar tune throughout the song.
But i agree, the lyrics as always never let up on the cheese. i think the most hilarious has to be "slipped her the big one" the lines are amazing cheese. Title: Re: danger danger Post by: Hammy on August 06, 2007, 08:33:14 AM High Voltage? :hihi:
Strange, never heard of this band before, you and me mrlee generally share the same taste, i might have to check 'em out... You know, in spite of my best efforts, I really can't sit through "big one." It's just too much. "Coming Home" is another favorite from that album for me. I actually got pretty excited when Ted Poley rejoined the band in '04, but sadly, I don't think much has happened since then. Between "Bang Bang" and the Screw It! album, there's still plenty to go back to, though... |
