Title: How many songs have you heard off of the new record?
Post by: gnr2k on August 02, 2007, 10:03:00 AM
I have a total of 10 songs. Demo's and live versions. I wanna hear the final mix though and songs I have not heard yet.  A few years back I did not want to hear them so I would be surprised, but I couldn't wait any longer.  Here are the ones I have heard.

Oh my god, Madagascar, The blues, Rhiad, Chineses Democracy, t.w.a.t. , Catcher in the Rye, Better, I.R.S. and Silkworms.

I hope this is the year but i am not counting on it.  If it never comes out, i love the songs that I have heard and think this would have been a huge record one that is history making since the band has really one original memeber but the most important memeber!

Dude! Here's a clue-

If you really, really want this album to come out and be entertained by Axl and the boys again then you need to get behind it 100%.............

I am behind the band.  I want to see the guys like Robin, who has been around for a long time now get the credit he deserves for being the great musician that he is.  I think these songs stack up to the old ones and this band might even be better than the original.  This has been my favorite band for 20 years and I am just frustrated with the delays!

Turn that frustration (energy) into something else.

From this day on until we all know the release date, the fans on this site need to imagine they are at a Guns N' Roses concert screaming encore, encore, encore! at the top of our lungs!

He might just hear you..........

Oh, My God
Chinese Democracy
Madagascar
The Blues
Silkworms
Rhiad and The Beduoins
IRS
Better
There Was A Time
Catcher In The Rye

Unheard possible new songs : Sorry, If The World

10 new songs.  In my opinion, the 2006 versions of CD and MDGSCR make then awesome songs.  The Blues has always been good. IRS is good. Better and TWAT are unbelievable.  Does putting out a Guns N' Roses album with Fortus, Finck, and Stinson legitimize them as real GN'R members more then touring the past two years ?

dude i could argue with you alllllll night but that fact is is it doesn't matter if you have or haven't heard anything from the new album. When it comes out it'll still be major and very BAD ASS :headbanger:

and if your one of those that thinks its wrong well then i feel sorry for you. Because you may never hear it. I'm behind the band 110% but right now and after the past 4 years of broken promises i gotta go with the odds this time.

But yeah i basically have the all the songs mentioned up above either live or demos
:peace:

Yes but how cool would it be if the album set list are:

Oh, My God
Chinese Democracy
Madagascar
The Blues
Silkworms
Rhiad and The Beduoins
IRS
Better
There Was A Time
Catcher In The Rye

Ok, i know  that won?t be the case..but at least 50% of the album should be totally new...I think the album will kick ass as well..Different, but awsome ! :peace:

This album isn't coming out. Guard your copies of the leaks and bootlegs, cuz that's the only way you're going to hear these songs. If an album comes out, I bet it won't have any of these songs on it.

I don't know why I'm saying this, but it seems like most of the material is going on a decade old at this point. I'm betting whatever is released, if it's every released, will be all new.

I don't wanna make you cry or something but the second incarnation (first 1 was with Steven and Izzy) of G N' R splitted in 1996.

That is ridiculous. I support the man AS A FAN but I live in the real world. And from where I'm sitting no one here has a direct effect on whether or not the album comes out or if they tour. You make it sound like a cult. GnR2k: don't drink the punch.
