Title: Puscifer Post by: stinkfist on August 01, 2007, 05:22:31 PM Maynard from Tool's little side project. www.puscifer.com
October 30th, Punks!! 07/31/07: It's official. The voices in my head have deliberated long enough. The verdict is OCTOBER 30th. The title? "V is for Vagina." of course. What else would it be? "C is for Chinese Democracy" was taken. Title: Re: Puscifer Post by: AxlsMainMan on August 01, 2007, 07:53:41 PM What else would it be? "C is for Chinese Democracy" was taken. Now that's funny! Title: Re: Puscifer Post by: GnFnR87 on August 01, 2007, 08:32:47 PM i think its a bad title but... i'm sure Maynard will deliver and it will be an excellant album. the songs released Revelation 22:20 and The Undertaker are fantastic.

Puscifer : Cuntry Boner.. It's great Title: Re: Puscifer Post by: Nytunz on August 28, 2007, 05:06:57 PM I cant wait for this album!
Cool to hear Maynards solo stuff! Maybe the best singer around.. Title: Re: Puscifer Post by: GnFnR87 on August 28, 2007, 05:14:37 PM what confuses me is that "Rev 22:10" and T"he Undertaker" were serious songs and i was expecting a serious record yet the song? 'Cuntry Boner" and the title of the album "V For Vagina" have made me think otherwise....
i mean Maynard is allowed to do whatever he wants and he has made his share of serious and deep records but that just confuses me. i'll be alot less interested if this whole album is just a fun jokey record. nothing wrong with that, but i was expecting a little more..... Title: Re: Puscifer Post by: AxlsMainMan on August 29, 2007, 09:57:32 PM Ill be checking this out regardless. : ok:
Title: Re: Puscifer Post by: GnFnR87 on September 30, 2007, 01:52:29 PM the new single, "Queen B" is on puscifer.com
its fucking nuts. dont know what to make of it yet. Title: Re: Puscifer Post by: maynard on October 02, 2007, 10:00:19 PM Loved Queen B. The video clip is also very original and crazy. Those many vocal layers reminded of Bjork's Medulla and I always wanted something electronic/industrial from Maynard (tapeworm :(). Milla Jovovich is listed as a collab, can't wait to hear it, love her voice.
Title: Re: Puscifer Post by: GnFnR87 on October 03, 2007, 12:12:18 AM its okay... i like the music but i dont like how the lyrics are just like the same phrase repeated.
also the music is good but it never really goes anywhere.... its just a tad underwhelming, but i'm still interested in the record of course. Title: Re: Puscifer Post by: the dirt on October 03, 2007, 12:30:19 AM Milla Jovovich is listed as a collab, can't wait to hear it, love her voice. Who's that, the Nightwish singer? Title: Re: Puscifer Post by: GnFnR87 on October 03, 2007, 09:06:35 AM Milla Jovovich is listed as a collab, can't wait to hear it, love her voice. Who's that, the Nightwish singer? the actress whos in all three resident evil movies and the fifth element etc... shes hot. Title: Re: Puscifer Post by: the dirt on October 04, 2007, 01:42:01 PM Ah.
I didn't know she sang. Title: Re: Puscifer Post by: maynard on October 06, 2007, 02:04:10 PM Cuntry Boner single already can be found on the net, and it's great. It's a different mix by John Baresi.

Title: Re: Puscifer Post by: AxlsMainMan on October 16, 2007, 03:35:03 PM PUSCIFER "Don't Shoot The Messenger" E.P. was just put up on iTunes. The full length album "V is for Vagina" is now available for pre-order in the "EYES & EARS" section. Toolies, keep in mind that this won't sound like Tool, which is exactly the point.
Meats Meier, one of the artists the band hired to do some of the rear projection images for the 10,000 Days tour (as well as some other projects) did a video for "Queen B." Let it be known that "Queen B" features Tim Alexander (Primus, Laundry, Fata Morgana) on drums. http://www.toolband.com/news/index.html Title: Re: Puscifer Post by: Nytunz on October 16, 2007, 05:00:33 PM Yeah, ive been following this project.. I think Trekka and Queen B are good songs..
I dont think Country Boner, and World up your ass, are "real" puscifer song, but just promo tracks, to make som funny buzz around the project. Im ready to pre-order. The cd have not leaked yet. Thats kind of weird. Title: Re: Puscifer Post by: maynard on October 17, 2007, 04:56:26 AM Trekka is cool, love the vocal layers.
