(locomotive) Post by: Bodhi on August 03, 2007, 11:50:40 AM well Dont Cry was the original ending to Use Your Illusion 2....Axl added my world and to my knowledge(i could be wrong) some band members were not even aware of the song till they saw the cd on shelves.....you bring up an excellent point that I never thought of...Locomotive would have been a kick ass ending to UYI 2

My World is simply an Axl song, not saying its bad, its just not a Guns N' Roses song, since none of the band played on it. Its a good/mediocre end to UYI2, and might've been a good opening track on that album. But had it been scrapped and Locomotive was the closer, it would be better, since it would be similar to Coma. We're a select few. :rofl: thats their loss. i've always thought the track was genius. people take it way too seriously and want to the album to end with some epic song like Coma, but thats what UYI I was for!! I just take it for what it is, a fun lil bonus of something unconventional but interesting on a kickass album. Title: Re: does any one else think?
