So why exactly do you have to pay money to join VR's fan club?
I got an email for the presale for the show in Washington in Sept and it said to log in and get the password. It was great: No password but it had the option to upgrade my acct to that of a paying one. Give me a break. GNR haven't done that with there site for advance ticket sales. For Smashing Pumpkins all I had to do was buy the album off iTunes and I got a presale password.
Give me a break Velvet. Don't you guys have enough money? I think it is really lame they do that. The Rolling Stones do the same thing but they might be worth it since ther THE STONES! But come on Slash. What is the point of charging your fans money to get a tiny little poster and an advance ticket sale password when just about everyone else does it for free since they are your fans.
I can not see paying 45 for a year or the couple hundred for the GOLD membership. When I see a band I dont mind paying to park, paying for gas, paying for food and drinks, paying for souveniars and of course I dont mind paying for the ticket but paying even more money for something that they should give to there fans. No thanks.
