Setlist: WTTJ, ISE, Brownstone, LALD, Robin Solo, SCOM, Better, KOHD, YCBM, Piano Moving Jam, Dizzy Solo (Angie by the Rolling Stones), The Blues, Introductions, Richard Solo, Richard & Robin (Beautiful with X Japan ending -Endless Rain), OTGM, Piano Moving Jam, November Rain, I.R.S., Bumblefoot Solo, Don't Cry (Axl, Ron, Dizzy, Frank and Chris), My Michelle, Patience, Nightrain, Madagascar, Paradise City Notes: Some superfunky pitman synth on KOHD, Axl introduces Frank Ferrer as "Frank... who is a legend and a half", Axl jumps on the piano during the jam before November Rain, Axl after NR "someone told me not to use so much kleenex... but, is that a bad thing???", the band does Don't Cry for 3rd time in a row with Axl, Ron, Dizzy, Frank and Chris, during the break in November Rain at the end before ron's solo axl started playing the piano and either fucked up or started to play a new song, the band cracked up laughing... The Rainbow Nagoya Hall changed it's name the 1st of April 2007 to ''Nippon Gaishi Hall'' to reflect the sponsorship of the NGK Insulators LTD. Its capacity is 10,000. This venue hosted some of the group games for the 2006 Volley World Championship. This will be the first time GNR plays in Nagoya, the fourth largest city in Japan. I'm so happy that GN'R will play Nagoya as this is my adopted hometown... I'm expecting a huge gaijin (foreign) representation tonight, as Toyota's headquarters are here and so there are a heap of gaijins in this area especially Japanese Brazilians (Who love their GNR!!!)
Apparently tonight is all seating, so the crowd dynamics will be probably very different compared to the first two shows but it could get crazy as I recently went to the NIN concert and ended up with a chipped tooth and got in a fight with a Yakuza-looking wanker who was throwing random haymakers in the moshpit...
