Title: My "Madagascar" record Post by: masterrecorder on July 17, 2007, 09:12:29 AM Hi there,
I've recorded my own version of "Madagascar" with some new interpretations regarding the leadguitar and some other, little things. It's homerecorded, so don't expect too much; there is nor vocal line either MLKspeech. No big mastering, just recorded and mixed up a bit. I'd be content if you give me some feedback concerning the guitar lines, the sound of the guitars, the solo and the song as a whole. I'm working on an extra guitar line for the vocals, but I think I need at first some feedback about the instrumental version. Some very small suggestions though, to my ears, in terms of volume balance etc, if you can manage it (because I know it is difficult to try to work with the limited resources you have) *bass - try to make it less distorted if you can *turn the lead guitar in the choruses up and add more gain if possible *add another rythmn guitar in the left channel to add more edge particularly in the choruses and the second verse *turn the organ up a little more in the second verse, especially where it leads to the second chorus *turn the guitar during the solo up a little bit more, and again, try to add a little more gain to it if possible but it sounds nice for a home project. great effort. the keyboards are good? :) |
