Here Today... Gone To Hell!

Yes, the time is coming, greatest album ever will be 20 years old this saturday, and we Turkish Gunners will celebrate this feast at Taxi Bar in Istanbul, there will be www.gnrturkey.net forum members' bands,local bands and some other activities and GN'R songs will be played all nite long.

We heard that some other bars will also celebrate this special day with events too

I'd like to thank GUNS N' ROSES and whoever helped AFD to be released and let us have the real thing, VIVA GN'R VIVA AFD!

I wonder what will other gunners do individually and or as fan clubs or whatever , or are we the only sick bastards, please share

Sunday, july 22th, the Second Brazillian Gunner Convention will take place, here in Sao Paulo, Brazil. There will be several bands playing Guns N' Roses songs, from AFD material till Chinese Democracy songs.

I'll be wearing my kilt and bandana. And on the 21th, I'll be listening to the Album on repeat...

Well, on Saturdays most of the big cities are empty in Greece, people go to places with sea so they can swim, so it would be pretty pointless for me to do something just for me and my friends...

I'll do a big party later this year...

Here everything's the same christos, and there'll be an parliament election next day.
There will be 1/10 of the people who would attend, but we are very enthusiastic about our first event.

Maybe we can make an organization together at lesbos or somewhere else later this year :)

I dont know anyone there... It would be really difficult to organize something over there... I don't even know if there are fans over there...

I mainly organize parties in Athens and Thessaloniki where I know the right people.

Sometimes I do parties in smaller cities, but you still need to know some important people there as well, or the whole thing will be a failure.

i wrote about there, cuz gnr beach parties are wonderful :)
we used to organize these in turkish beaches in the 90's and lesbos would be a fine place, or we'd love to host you here in istanbul or wherever :)

Holy Thessaloniki (never could write this rite,thx for the copy paste :)) and athens are beautiful but i'd still prefer and island :)

I heard from steven adler that you organize nice parties :)

Yeah, we've had some good times with Steven in the past...

Maybe we can do something in the future... A beach GN'R party would be fuckin awesome, but it has to be prepared a few months before it happens if we want it to be perfect... So, we can only talk about next summer...

this was a picture from the past week at the same place, but we forgot to take cameras with us today, so it might give u an idea of how fucked up we were tonite, we were like 110 people stuffed there. it's 4:40 a.m and i could jut come home :)

It's officially the 22nd here, has been for five minutes. Good day, I listened to AFD 4 times on repeat.

I completely forgot it was the anniversary today... I still bought AFD though. lol Only CD I've ever bought.

I just got back from being stoned all day, which for me is a rarity as I don't normally smoke let alone do it all day.. the last half when we where all baked was AFD on repeat for about 5 hrs... by that point though nobody cared what was playing.

I've partied my ass off for the 20th anny of AFD.  Bar I was at (The George in Vail, Colorado) hooked it up on the fly and played GNR for Six songs until close...basically once I requested it since I was wearing an AFD jacket and a red bandanna.  Peace...and hope everyone parties to AFD this evening.

Though I did put on an AFD t-shirt yesterday which may be some kind of spiritual subconscious thing. Or a coincidence. Either or.

i were to go on a pub that showed Ritz 88 and the CBGB show and played a lot of GNR the whole night...
but when i got there it was all over! haha!
i came to late for its birthday! :p

so it was a normal drunken day for me, just with a shitload of toast to GNR and slash.... (we celebrated him at the same time)

and i met this crazy ass GNR fan chick! so we ran around singing GNR in the streets! awesome! :p
