The "Axl's Teeth" thread had a big impact... It reset the scale for terrible threads/discussion and still gets a nod here and there.

E.g.  "Why the hell can't we discuss the new leaked songs?  It's not like there's anything else to talk about except for stupid shit like Axl's teeth"


The Axl impersonator was pretty memorable too....

In the GNR section, I remember when Axl was on Eddie Trunk that thread was massive........ Also back when we were allowed to talk about leaks, those threads were insane.

The Mullets in the Def Leppard thread were fuckin hysterical.

Some other good ones:

 - Any Iraq thread that Bud Fox contributed to.

I dunno man. I never could make it all the way through that thread. I started again tonight and the first four pages was painful to read, very painful. Some people need to get some fresh air around here, that's for sure.

My all  time  fav  has to be  the Dave meltdown. It was  classic, over  a  trivial  thing. Another  case of a  person with nothing to do  and who takes GNR/HTGTH way too  seriously. Nothing can ever top that meltdown, ever, in a million years. And you know what, as  sad as it  is, we  are all better  off for  it. Dave did to himself what the mods should  have done  years ago, and  that was to silence  him.

It had to do with what the Fire Marshall said when the show in Rhode Island was canceled. Dave thought GN'R management was lying. It culminated with Dave posting links to a leaked song because he was pissed, and then he was banned.
