Title: Parential advisory warning label
Post by: Top-Hatted One on July 04, 2007, 10:36:32 AM
I went to Best BUY and none of the copies had a warning label. Contraband did. Is that right?

Yep, it's not Parental Advisory...........I bought it at Wal-mart and it's the exact same release.  Since the F-bomb is only dropped like twice in Libertad that constitutes it as not PA.  There's a certain amount for them to actually have to censor it.  Contraband had quite a bit more swearing which is why it got the sticker.

I imagine Do It For The Kids alone was enough to warrant it the PA sticker  :hihi:  Libertad doesn't seem to have too much swearing, though.  Not that that's a bad thing.

Does Libertad have any swearing at all?  I don't remember any.

There's no PA sticker, but at some stores there's a sticker that has 2 red stars covering the nipples of the naked girl on the cover.

The copy I got at Best Buy DID NOT have the star sticker, but when I saw it at FYE the cd had it.  Same with Walmart (of course).

Hate to bring GNR into the mix, but MOST of the songs from the new band we've heard don't have swears in them either.  Guys using less profanity as they mature?

I think Spay drops the F-bomb once or twice too. But I think that's it.

I don't know about all that, You are sure to get at least six dozen "motherfuckers" at a VR show.

I can't remember exactly, but I think Get Out The Door or She Mine says "Fuck" at least once.

Yeah, there is no PA sticker anywhere, I bought it at Target and no sticker.? Also, there was no stickers over the nipples of the bitch on the cover.

The only swear words used on Libertad are as follows...

1. "Pills, Demons, Etc" contains one use of the word "Fuck".

2. "Spay" contains one use of the word "Fuck" and one use of the word "Bitches".
