Title: Where to buy LIBERTAD Post by: von on July 02, 2007, 04:25:49 AM Sunday paper style. Let's list all of the main outlets carrying Libertad on Tuesday and the best prices/bonus features for each. Some places like FYE sometimes do a free poster or the like...Best Buy I think has some "exclusive" special edition. Anyway, I don't get the paper with flyers out here in university land, and this is something we did on a Manson board that really helped a lot of people out and worked out well for me. Post up prices and info in here. By the way, does anyone know if Hot Topic is doing their new usual of big new cd released and a t-shirt of that band's or something similar for like $20?

Title: Re: Where to buy LIBERTAD Post by: von on July 02, 2007, 04:50:21 AM Do you know anything more about the Best Buy "exclusive"? It's a good $5 more than the regular edition, if I can recall.
Title: Re: Where to buy LIBERTAD Post by: UK_Gunner on July 02, 2007, 06:47:21 AM I got mine this morning (UK). Picked up the special edition for ?13.47. Watched the DVD, it's quite cool and there are live performances of Sucker Train Blues, Do It For the Kids, Let it Roll and She Builds Quick Machines. Worth the extra ?3 really. And the CD is enhanced with the making of Libertad, there are some cool interviews with the guys and some good footage.

It's a good $5 more than the regular edition, if I can recall. One's probably just the DVD version and one's the standard version. I'm going to be pissed if the one time that I sprung for the Japanese version that the US actually gets more! Title: Re: Where to buy LIBERTAD Post by: Ines_rocks! on July 02, 2007, 08:29:40 AM I?m going to buy it today! I?m so excited! lol and I shouldn?t be as I have heard the album like 10 times now...

Title: Re: Where to buy LIBERTAD Post by: von on July 03, 2007, 03:39:44 AM This thread sorta got derailed. By "where to buy" I meant literally we should compile the prices of Libertad and any other offers from various retailers and make a list for users to reference and make their decision. For example:
Best Buy: $x.xx + exclusive _______ Circuit City: " You know. I don't get flyers, a lot of people might not, just thought it would be a help. A fun thing. Title: Re: Where to buy LIBERTAD Post by: mikegiuliana on July 03, 2007, 03:41:01 AM I usually just go to FYE.. Title: Re: Where to buy LIBERTAD Post by: von on July 03, 2007, 03:43:03 AM I miss The Wiz, too. Fuck FYE though. FYE sets the price bar so high I'm surprised they haven't priced themselves out of business. That with their shit selection, shit attitude, and general lack of tact or proper planning when it comes to their involvement in concerts or meet-and-greets. I hope all FYE's burn to the foundation.

I know itunes has "messages" and "psycho killer" What about Best Buy? Target? Napster? How many different versions of the album are there? Title: Re: Where to buy LIBERTAD Post by: Eclipsed107 on July 03, 2007, 08:58:19 PM best buy is the only place to buy cds when they come out...all major rock releases are only 9.99 first week I'd say go to an independend music store before best buy, but other than that best buy is def. the place to go. They also always have the best exclusives and bonuses. Does anyone know what retailers have what bonus tracks? I know itunes has "messages" and "psycho killer" What about Best Buy? Target? Napster? How many different versions of the album are there? As far as I know there's only the 2 versions (standard and then the Best Buy edition w/ the DVD) and then the Itunes version as well w/ the bonus tracks.
