The melody of for a brother is similar inplaces to State of Love and Trust...but I wouldn't call it a rip....just has some reminiscent qualities....you can find a million examples of stuff like that.... You guys are really stretching on this one. There are only so many chords and notes, there are many similarities in many songs. These songs are way too different. I agree the RHCP song is almost identicle to Tom Petty's last dance with mary jane. This is nowhere near that and if anything is, its all coincidence.
