I've been reading the forums on and off for 10 years, and I think something like 8 of the 10 instances of people meeting Axl have happened since February...that's probably a good sign that he's getting more comfortable around fans. All you ever heard about the UYI tour from people who were backstage was "I met everybody, Axl stayed in his dressing room the whole time and never came out, and when he did everyone had to clear the room and not look in his direction".

So yeah, good stuff!

Fabulous stories you guys!!! I am so happy for you.! When i was in Vegas, Beta seemed that she might be waving to me, but I was too shy to wave back! I met a country singer named Billy Joe Shaver just sitting by the Sydney Harbour in 1994. I told him, I don't really like country music. I'm a GUNSNROSES girl, I LOVE AXL ROSE!

I know a few old gunners who met him back then, and that is the last thing that happend.

i liked that very much.and beta's family is very kool.i found beta to be great for me also.giving me tickets to hammersiens last year.i was very greatful to her.

How did you manage that?

it wasn't hard i  just asked her.i said i was going to have a beef n' beer to raise money to go to ny.but lost my job and didn't have money to go.if she could help me out.i could get to  ny from philly.that i took the train.and three tickets were at the door with my name on them.i went to meet axl but he went to his hotel i missed him.

I was lucky enough to meet Axl in Brisbane.. it's really something else huh.. everyone backstage is very nice.

I almost took a offer of tickets myself last decemeber for oakland , great read .Beta is getting people more closer to Axl these days.

guys, the last thing i want to do here is have it turn into a slagging match.

I just wanted to share my experience with other fans who I thought might get a kick out of my weekend. ?It is a shame that some have to get up and defame others.

Next time you want to write something of the like, how about saying it to yourself and leaving it at that. ?"It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt".

Why does it seem like its so much easier to meet Axl overseas?  Here in the U.S. he stays hidden and out of sight, out of the country he seems like he WANTS to meet people. 

THats not entirely true, many people met him at many places in the country., NY, Vegas, etc.. I didn't get a meet and great so to speak. but he did come out after the last Hammerstein show, and shook tons of fans hands along with baz, and bbf, etc..  :)

Merck walked by me a few times In Vegas at the Joint and we both just kind of stared at each other.

All these stories about how Axl is interacts with his fans is a very nice read. He seems to be in a very good mood and a polite and curtios person in general who deserves all respect.

Of course I know who Fernando is. ?He gave me passes to the after party. ? ?The 'Fernando' who made that post could have been anyone, and, to be honest, when i replied, I did not even look at who made the post. ?The beauty of a chatroom is that the alias is free to roam.

As for me only having 6 posts on here, who gives? Just because one has hundreds of posts, does not mean you are popular or in any way more important than the next. ?Look at where my '6 posts' got me....
