I guess sometimes knowing your IP address is enough. Sometimes they don't even have to know your IP address. Use a firewall, anti-virus and make sure your operating system (Windows etc) is up-to-date with all the latest security fixes. Also make sure you don't download any fishy programs or open e-mails that seem fishy. Yeah, I gave up on Norton ages ago. It never seemed to correctly identify anything and screwed up my computer constantly. Norton used to be good now its awful. It really slows the computer down and removing it completely is impossible without hosing windows. |
