It was bizarre.. I was stopped at an intersection waiting to cross the road and Robin was walking from the other side.. so I said "Robin".. "I'm here for the show.. can I get a photo?" .. he was like "sure" and so I got a photo with another couple of GNR mates that I know and met up with. He was really polite and happy to take the photos and sign an autpgraph. It also seems like the members of the band seem more free to walk around and feel comfortable in foreign cities. I might be mistaken but I don't remember a whole lot of random encounters with the band during the US shows. I don't blame them though. It must be nice to get to walk around and check out the city without a whole lot of people bugging you for stuff.
