Exactly, even if GNR didnt announce the single there is still always one of us who would check their shit and confirm the single. If it was a real single I think all major radio stations would have got it at the same time. no?

Is no the same leak we here before is another version. more claen and the pitman part spund lower, the rock part is more intense. People who said that is the same leak never hear it.

I heard three versions. The first was the leak in 2006 (march) with the raw guitars and low quality. Then the leak of December with the new vocals and the tecno part from pitman. The version that the station play is a different one. Just compare the two and you will agree with me.

they are different BUT they are the same. I mean by that that someone enhansed the quality like someone downloaded it off the internet then took it to the studio or something and tweeked it a little. AND MAYBE after that he posed as a G'n'R managment person and then gave it to the radio station and they believed him with out doing a background serch or nothin on the guy. I don't know that may seem a little far fetched, hell, i made it up and it seems far fetched to me. But the thing that happen last month with that one dude leaking those four tracks seemed far fetched to me but it was the truth.

so take this as a theory and feel free to make up your own.

Is that actually possible? Wouldnt you need access to the master tracks? To like single out certain parts and lower and raise their levels. Im not a studio expert. Just curious.

i have to sadly say that i agree with jarmo the leaks should be ignored and not given any credit, i know fuck me but when you have major mags. like rollin stone giving them reviews and making the band look bad before the music is even out, some assholes will go by what that rag says and not buy the cd and start putting down the band by saying there no good all based on an on finished product.so the leaks do effect sales.

I was excited when I thought for about 5 minutes this was the beginning of promotion and cd was finally coming out, but I don't think Better should be the first single.

I totally disagree here , the leaks are ALL the band has at this point. If you want to go down memory lane and jam to Appetite or the Illusions , then you are nothing more than basically a classic rock n roll fan , but if you are into todays group , and have been waiting patiently for the new stuff to be released , then I would say the average listener would know shit from shinola. The leaks will keep the fans more interested , and give people a sense of what's to come. The songs are spreading around as we speak and are being heard , you have good and bad reviews , because everybody is different. People don't listen to reviews (only if the're idiots) they want to judge for themselves and if they like a little of what they hear in the leaks , then they are sucked in , and will buy the new album , even if it's called "A Sack of Dogshit" Yes it's nothing but early advertising , like a movie preview , same thing , I have listened to the leaks over and over , and I really don't think the released songs are going to be that much different , I mean , how much more polish can you add to them ? Yes the're is improvement possibilities there on a technical standpoint , but for the avg fan who just wants to rock , they are really good songs already. Not to mention , the're are plenty of songs we haven't even heard yet as well , to keep the sales up. If you haven't noticed , the rock world is pretty sucky right now , so anything from AXL, is a breath of fresh air.
