Title: Any Possible Tour Surprises Post by: GnR-NOW on June 01, 2007, 07:51:19 AM I'm getting excited about the start of the 2007 World Tour.....even though I won't be at any shows. But I was thinking about some surprises we might see. I'm not expecting a completely revamped song line up, but Richard did mention during the last tour that they may play Civil War in the future. I think it's safe to expect Izzy to show up for a few dates, although I would prefer to see just the band the way they are. Also .... Brain or Frank, unless I missed something, we don't know for sure. As far as new songs, I agree with play more when CD is released, however I would like to see There Was A Time become a regular. Other then that ... please share your thoughts ....

I'll get excited if he comes to Europe. Either way I don't expect any changes/surprises. Title: Re: Any Possible Tour Surprises Post by: stolat on June 01, 2007, 07:57:47 AM Is there going to be a big piano on stage for November Rain.......Civil War?

No, it wouldn't be the same without Matt and Slash.. not saying it would suck but.. yeah. I'm still waiting for Civil War  Title: Re: Any Possible Tour Surprises Post by: suicide on June 01, 2007, 10:03:57 AM Same setlist, same stage, same technical problems BUT a new Bumblefoot solo!
Title: Re: Any Possible Tour Surprises Post by: stolat on June 01, 2007, 10:07:27 AM Same setlist, same stage, same technical problems BUT a new Bumblefoot solo! Cool! Sounds like a wild night in Saigon! As they say in Vietnam - Same, same but different...... And you usually say "but different" with a shake of your hand. Title: Re: Any Possible Tour Surprises Post by: gunns1 on June 01, 2007, 10:10:41 AM talking of bumblefoot,
perhaps a new BUMBLEGUITAR? TO BE UNCOVERED................. :o :o :o :o :o   Title: Re: Any Possible Tour Surprises Post by: Axlfreek on June 01, 2007, 10:50:22 AM as long as gnr shows up and they put on a good show i could care less if there are any suprises :)
but suprises are always nice  Title: Re: Any Possible Tour Surprises Post by: maynard on June 01, 2007, 11:12:15 AM any band that really cares about fans would throw some surprises in their shows, even U2, that had an static setlist due light, effects and stuff added some suprises on vertigo tour like one tree hill, discotheque...
Title: Re: Any Possible Tour Surprises Post by: stolat on June 01, 2007, 11:14:23 AM For anyone who was there at the Pink Floyd concert, it is time to talk about the flying bed......
Title: Re: Any Possible Tour Surprises Post by: suicide on June 01, 2007, 11:30:23 AM You know, even if they play the same setlist as in 2006 (which they probably will) it will be very interesting to hear what the "new" songs sound like 'cause (unlike 2006) the album is ready, the songs have reached their final transformation and are ready to hit the stores.
Will CD start with the great intro we already heared in Donnington (and on a leak)? Will Better still include the weird sounds before the chorus (or have these been deleted)? What's the intro like of IRS nowadays? Have a great tour GN'R!!! Title: Re: Any Possible Tour Surprises Post by: Demon Wolf on June 01, 2007, 12:02:23 PM I'm excited to see how the band looks.

Title: Re: Any Possible Tour Surprises Post by: ppbebe on June 01, 2007, 02:38:08 PM A return of Riyadh would be nice but might not be a surprise.
Possible surprises are.... some alterations to the stage setting? Izzy appearances. a secret gig in Australia. perhaps a new BUMBLEGUITAR? I was wondering if Bumble had adopted any fans idea. Bloody infiltrator! Suck that and not rub it in next time, will you? Title: Re: Any Possible Tour Surprises Post by: mega_music on June 01, 2007, 05:59:07 PM I am not counting on any kind of surprises that we have not already seen. Baz will show up and rock out on my michelle, the same solos and shit will happen, and I am guessing Axl will have the same wardrobe as the last tour.
Title: Re: Any Possible Tour Surprises Post by: fortus07 on June 02, 2007, 09:32:02 AM Itd be awesome if they whipped out some more Use Your Illusion stuff. Civil War would be epic. I think Axl would sound good on that one too. The my hands are tied part would be awesome.
If the setlist from last year was real, Perfect Crime would be nuts. other quick ones like right next door to hell would be cool. If they played COma, locomotive, Breakdown, or Estranged I have no idea what I would do. That would be so fucking cool Title: Re: Any Possible Tour Surprises Post by: Communist China on June 02, 2007, 10:54:39 AM I predict Anything Goes and Think About You make a glorious return to the setlist. ;D
Title: Re: Any Possible Tour Surprises Post by: don_vercetti on June 02, 2007, 12:16:34 PM Think About You is already there, it was played at multiple shows, including the last one on 20/12.
Title: Re: Any Possible Tour Surprises Post by: freddiebrph on June 02, 2007, 12:47:16 PM Would it be too much to ask if he would just mention the album? That would be a surprise!!!!!!!!
Title: Re: Any Possible Tour Surprises Post by: irishtwilight on June 04, 2007, 01:18:15 AM Right Next Door To Hell is added to the setlist.
