It won for biggest weekend opening....but we won't know for sure who grosses more worldwide total for a couple months. Regardless if Pirates wouldn't have had the Thursday showing, it would probably have beaten Spiderman by a few million. Plus there are a lot of factors such as limited showings of Pirates because of the length of it and other factors. It still had the biggest Memorial Day opening.
