Here Today... Gone To Hell!

I am starting to get worried. It is just this weird feeling I am getting right now. Its been a long time since we heard any official GNR news/updates with any substance. We were getting updates on how things are going with Chinese Democracy and haven't heard shit in forever. We know the recording is done and mixing was underway. I really don't care about a release date. An update on the process would have been cool but whatever, there are somethings that we can't know.

After hearing leaks, it is painful because we know it is going to be different. It is sad that these leaks happened. I have this picture in my head what it is going to be but knowing it won't be. Hell we don't even know if these songs are the ones on Chinese Democracy. 

Its late and I might just be delusional but... I don't know. Continue living the life, I guess.

Well, the tour starts in two weeks, that should be something to look forward to.....

I'm as big a fan as any, and I have chosen to not listen to leaks.  The only versions I have heard of the leaked ones were performed live.  I think it's cool to not pay attention to all the BS and treat it like I did when I was younger, simply wait till the album comes out so you can hear it the way they want you to hear it.

I think that the next major update will come from Axl's mouth in two weeks, in one of the mexican dates.

I dont think we have to be worried at all. There must be some kind of little problem to fix, and once it's fixed, the GNR website will tell us the release date.

I predict a very intense promotion in july/august, and the album release in september  :peace:

HellHole, you're just starting to get worried about the process!?!?  Ha, I think we've all had our concerns over the past several years.  You're not alone.  My bro-in-law has gotten to the point where he doesn't want me to give him any news about GNR until the official release date is announced.  He's totally down for a couple shows live (hopefully this fall or winter on the east coast (U.S.)) but is definitely pissed waiting. 

You're right about the leaks Hellhole...but damn, when a project goes this long with as many different people in the mix, bits are bound to grow legs and walk out of the studio.
I still remember that damn 32 second IRS clip that sounded like a tape of a tape of a tape thrown into the ocean and retrieved only to be kept in a car with all the windows closed on a 100 degree day, only to be salvaged by some crack CSI squad and...you get the picture.  I had my doubts with that song, but holy hell how hearing a higher quality version helps!  The song kicks ass.   :)

At least there is a  process. We've been told the process  is underway. Be patient.

No way sexkitten!  The only thing he's had removed since the show in Jersey is his wife from their marriage.  I believe the divorce was finalized this week.  The only tat he's had added since his GNR ink was just recently.  A pic of his daughter who he has full custody of.   :peace:
