Here Today... Gone To Hell!

Due to the new Nightwish track "EVA" being leaked, Nightwish will be revealing the identity of the new singer in about 4 hours at 5pm Finnish time.

The single will now be released tomorrow 25th of may instead of on the 30th as a result of the leak.

damn it, i hate these silly medi-evil themed women singer metal bands.

I don't think I would describe Nightwish as a medi-evil, Tuomas' lyrics are much deeper than that.

They are the best female fronted rock/metal band around, maybe you should expand your horizons a bit. : ok:

Hopefully the magic will continue with the new singer, so far it sounds promising.

ill stick with skid row if i want powerful vocals with great lyrics and kick ass riffs :D

Yep Skid Row were a great band in their day, plus i will get to see Sebastian Bach in a couple of weeks when GN'R do their tour of Australia. : ok:


Anette Olzon has just been named the new singer for Nightwish.

Tarja has a great voice, but she not the only one .
the new vocalist she has a great voice and she is cuite  :yes:
the new single is very beautiful the solo in the end of the song is very tuching.

But everyone has their own opinion. I'm sure I would not like some of the bands you are into but I don't go spamming threads about them just to get attention. :peace:

You're right Tarja does have an awesome voice, one of the reasons I got into Nightwish.

But the new single sounds fantastic Anette's voice really suits the song well. I've been waiting to hear who the new singer is and what she sounds like, and I do like what I hear.

I got to see them in 2005 when they toured Australia and it was sensational, still trying to find the bootleg DVD of the Melbourne show, I know it exists.
