Title: Veterinary school of Alfort Post by: Jessica on May 12, 2007, 05:23:00 AM I sawthis program on tv yesterday about it and i saw dogs that had problems :
One Rot needed an operation and a poodle had lost the ability to walk, paralysed of both his back legs due to a hernia on each side. SO, this vet school have a walk/run machine ( like humans have in sport centers) and a hydraulic swimming pool at 32 degrees celsius. The dogs train on the machine and into the pool and get physiotherapy, massages and the whole lot. Well, the dog that needed the op before went without after all, and the dog with hernias was operated and then trained on all of these and got 80% of the use of his legs back. I just thought this health system for animals was fantastic and wanted to share.
