I've just found that there are a few bands that can tip their hats to the old stuff but put a modern edge on it. The thing about having an 'old' sound is that you have to be really good to pull it off. That's why The Answer are doing so well - they are so good live and Cormack has an amazing voice both on CD and live. So they get away with it. I feel that they put a good modern twist on some of the songs though. I feel that they put a good modern twist on some of the songs though. i preffer the sleaze bands though, they look real cool too and have all the "HEYS" n shit in the chorus's, its sing along perfection. |
