right before i get bashed im not sure if this in the right section but if it aint feel free to move it.

i have a concert which is in 1 big chunk, does any1 have a programme about the separate them out into singular tracks

I suggest you trying one of these three programs:

Audacity is free, open source software for recording and editing sounds. It is available for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, and other operating systems

After recording, you can let CD Wave automatically calculate split points, or you can manually add and delete split points. After this, you can write out the tracks as individual wave files and use any CDR mastering program to write a disc that has no clicks or pops in between tracks. Also supports 24-bit and surround audio.

If it is your first time, please, try Audacity at first.

1) Open the big file with Audacity (it needs to be WAV/MP3/OGG/AIFF)

2) Then you have to select, using the mouse, song by song, and save them: FILE > Export Selection as WAV/MP3 (i dont know if this is the exact name of the option, because Im using the spanish version)

Once you learn how to use it properly, then you can try Sound Forge. It has a lot of options, its more precise and complete, but it also needs a lot more of system resources, and its not free, so you'll need to ''buy'' a license  :hihi:

erm i dont no how to move the song along so i no when the end of the song is, do i have to listen to the whole concert and stop it and then cut the song and save it?

i use Adobe Audition, it also allow me inserts fades and eliminate silences.

its prob not the best way... but you could do it with itunes..  you just have to keep changing the start and start time.. then convert to aac.. that will create a new track.... it will prob annoying to do a whole show.. if you don't have any of the other programs though you could always do that..  i used itunes to break up the lies sessions but that was only 5t or six songs

I use WAV Splitter for wav, and MCutter for mp3. Simple and does the job. It's sufficient if you're not trying to apply any effects.
