Title: New Bumblefoot Interview from Irish Radio Show Posted Online
Post by: RobinFinck on May 01, 2007, 09:53:17 AM
Headbangers Ball Ireland have posted a new interview with Bumblefoot and former Alleycat Scratch bassist Robert Dias online at the following location www.myspace.com/headbangersballireland in the blog section.

We're asking for one euro or one dollar from anyone who downloads this exclusive file (although the file is free to all from the site) to cover the costs of opening a new website, which I think is pretty reasonable, considering that they have some interesting interviews lined up. Please leave a comment if you do visit the site as people havent been doing that and we like to hear from fans and what they think.

Full credit anywaiz to Headbangers Ball Ireland for this

1 euro?!
I'll save that for next VR album.

I'm not charging anything for you to download this, I'm just asking for a donation towards a future website, ive recieved over 800 hits in the last 24 hours alone and ive welcomed every one of them, but havent taken the interview down just because I didnt get one dollar or one euro from a SINGLE person

$1 eh??? I think i'll wait for bumbles next FREE interview ?::)

The interview is free, go and download it 20 times if you wish, help yourself....its been free since I put it up last night at 11pm!

Anything GNR related in this interview (worth paying a auro / dollar for)?

I'm not asking for a dollar or a euro for the interview, it was a suggested donation towards future website costs

pffff 1 euro for some interview? grow up!!!

Again, im not charing for the interview, and im fully grown up thank you very much...maybe you should look at my site before you go jumping on the bandwagon and ASSUMING im not offering the interview for free to everyone who wants it

Did you tell Bumble at the time of the interview you would be asking fans for money to download it? ?:-\

I'm not charging you for it, its free, go and download it now if you dont believe me...it has been free since I put it up last night

I've recieved 909 blog views since midnight last night and havent recieved a single kudos, not one comment on the site from anyone, and I havent complained once about the fact that nobody is sending so much as a penny....but yet for some people to post on here and tell me that I'm forcing you to pay any money for this interview is just plain stupid. Thank you to Grouse for realising that I am, indeed, only asking for a suggested donation

It's basic netiquette. If you are wanting donations, you put a notice on your site, not on message boards pointing to your site.

If you are wanting feedback on the interview, I would edit and remove the second paragraph of your first post because that is what most people will respond to.

Nevertheless, it was a good interview and that is what people should comment on

Cheers for the feedback lads, just on that last comment Mysteron, there is actually a notice on my site asking people about this....I included it as part of the notice on this site just to inform people and in the vague hope that people would donate something...but if they dont want to then thats fine,

I dont mind sharing with people for free....but you can imagine what will happen when that phone bill comes through lol :-X ....which Ill prob end up getting billed for! ::) Sure its all in the spirit of GNR

LOL....

It's 50 cents more than Axl can collect if he never releases "CD".

By the way... Thanks for the interview, and don't pay attention to the emotionally damaged members of these GnR message boards.

Satrini is a shred god!  One o the greats.

He suggested BBF for the band at the exact same time that CHRIS "MOTHER GOOSE" PITMAN sent him an email about it too.

That has one of the greatest responses/posts on Here Today Gone to Hell in 11 years.
That basically summarizes the entire experience of being into the new GNR with the new songs that are 6 years old.

I did say in the past that Axl would have better songs than Rhyiad, Silkworms and I was right with new ones such as TWAT and IRS. I still don't believe that we've heard the best stuff yet.

I am also hopeful and feel confident in saying the best is yet to come.  Here's to "Sorry", "Prostitute" and "If The World"...hopefully :)

Nope. That was Joe Satriani.... the post was sarcastic. My spelling was to represent the mispronounciation on the part of the show host.

some news about interview?
did somebody listen it?

I'll post some highlights:

Bumblefoot states "I have a lot of favorite songs of the new stuff and it's songs that nobody has heard yet" @30:07
States that he doesn't talk about the band and business because it makes him feel like he is leaving them out and treating them like 'lab rats' because they might not be confortable with that and it's not like a dictatorship. Very respectful, feels like it's not his place.
Compares the silence/not talking about CD to the Sopranos, the story needs to be told properly instead of being spoiled.
Has been friends with Mini Mike from Baz's band for about 10 years.
Ironically, between the break in Ron's Interview theirs a short clip of the Madagascar Leak.
Manowar is the greatest fuckin band on the planet according to BBF

Manowar does rock. Hokey but they rock. I'd love to see a metal tour opening with DragonForce followed by Helloween and headlined by Manowar. That would be AWESOME. It would also be a total white trash parade but that just makes it fun.

I just realized the only way to listen to the new GNR music is join GNR.
Considering they've had 1000+ members/managers/agents/producers/groupies in the last 10 years, it shoudn't be too hard.
