Here Today... Gone To Hell!

When I told Mum that Guns were coming back after 14 years she said I'm Coming.

I asked her are you sure, I mean this is a 6+ hour show of ear splitting,head smashing Rock N Roll show were talking about.

She said I wan't to see first hand the band you lived and breathed for and drove everybody crazy about back when you were a
teenager.

I got her a seat with a group of 5 of us so she can enjoy it from a distance.

Mum's 57 and I'm really excited that she is going to experience one of the greatest Rock band's of all time.

Mum's a cool old chick.

That is fucking kick ass.

cool! my mother is rock n roll too, she won't go to concerts with me but she's always interested in listening to my type of music; guns, nin, aerosmith, AIC, ... some of them  songs she likes too.
but then again, she used to go to deep purple, queen and stuff when i was still a little boy.

my mother took me to see guns in 92 and 93 here in argentina i was 11 : ok: she was so into axl she even have a poster

My Mom's 77 and last night she called me cause she had to tell me that she was watching Jeopardy (an American game show) and that GNR was one of the categories.? What impressed her even more was that they were a category in the second round where the answers are harder and all the contestants got all the questions correct.? She said "they must be a very popular group!"? :hihi:

My mom came to the Helsinki for the same reason (since I had been annoying her with videos, interviews, magazines and a 2000fmk phonebill  for 10 years  :hihi:) and after the show she had this  :o look on her face and said :whoa! Axl's not a druggie, he's an ARTIST!

LOL, I was 10 years old when I saw Guns N' Roses live, also in Argentina.

My father took me (against his will) and my big brother to the River Plate Stadium, the 07/17/93.

At that time, the only song I knew from Guns, and the only one I remember perfectly was Live And Let Die because all my family is a McCartney fan.

My dad didn't know a shit about GNR at that time, and he still doesnt know a shit.

The only song he seems to like a lot (because sometimes I find him whistling it) is ''You Aint The First''

If Guns come to Argentina again, someday, I will force my dad to come with me like the first time.

I turned my mom into a Guns fan, and I would love to take her.

But she's the type of person who will complain about the amount of noise at a rock concert....
